Now that fall is here, and leaves will be on the ground before too long, it’s the perfect time to deep clean the screened porch. Gather Your Supplies
Before you can deep clean a screened porch, you need to make sure that you have plenty of supplies to get the job done. Start by gathering these supplies:
- Hose
- Pressure washer or garden sprayer
- Shop-Vac
- Spray cleaner
- Rags or old towels
- Broom
It’s also a good idea to wear rain boots as you clean, as you will be working with water and potentially get wet.
Vacuum and Sweep
When you want to deep clean a screened porch, you should start by tidying up the surface with a broom and a vacuum. This is particularly important if you have a carpet or rug, as there is a good chance that there is dirt and pollen packed into the surface. Once you’ve vacuumed the rug, move it off the porch and sweep the floor.
Hose It All Down
